Volkswagen's First Ever EV e-Golf Priced At 34,900 Euros

Separated by a mere 50 Euros ($68.45 USD), Germany buyers will certainly not be swayed by price when choosing between the VW e-Golf and BMW i3.

Pricing for the e-Golf is now officially set at 34,900 Euros ($47,782 USD) in Germany. Meanwhile, the BMW i3 has a base MSRP of 34,950 Euros ($47,850 USD) in Germany.

$47k USD is quite a lot but hopefully by time it's ready to hit the U.S. market the $10k rebates the fed usually gives are still around and doesn't decrease.

Going to be a tough battle between the i3 and the Golf GTE (e-golf)

I dislike how the front end of the i3 looks, not much appealing at all. They need to save it with a mid-cycle refresh.

It just came out though... lol

its pretty ugly.

The Golf is a better car. More range. More power. More practical

But i say its a tough battle simply because its a BMW

The great holy BMW. People will buy it just because its a BMW and it has wood flooring on the dash.
