GTE Slower than MKZ H

So the Golf GTE will do 0-60 in 7.6 seconds, the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid will do it in 7.1 seconds....

WOW.

0-60 time is not the most important metric to me, and many others, for this car, so I'm not that disappointed.

Same here, to me it's more about range, features, dependability, how practical it will be, and many more like it.

LOL you are the same people who have been saying that the GTE should perform similar to the GTI right...

The MKZ is a massive Luxo barge, motivated by a 2.0L Atkinson-Cycle I-4 Hybrid Engine making only 141 ponies total system output. While the GTE as a lighter car and making 201 hp total system output.

It doent have to be your most important metric but you have to admit this is more than a little odd...

naw the GTE is only one letter away from the GTR
so it has to be at like 2/3 of the performance of the GTR

You do make a good point.
How fast do you think it can lap the nurburgring?

5 minutes or less

in all seriousness.

the initial speculation was that it could perform as well as a GTi.

And though it doesnt.. its not a huge deal..

i'd imagine it still drives similar to a GTi having the same suspension and everything else..
