gasoline. At least cars have emissions regulations, and gasoline is a refined product. Coal is coal. They'res not much you can do to reign in the emissions of coal. You can have scrubbers in the stacks but that only mitigates a small fraction.

California is another beautiful example. The green capital of the world, everything EV. COAL FIRED ELECTRICITY.... FOR THE FECKING WIN

I don't really think there is a way around using coal to fuel the future. That is why politicians renamed it 'clean' coal. I don't really think that clean coal exists, but doesn't it sound better than just plain old "coal?"

No it sounds worse, like someone is trying to sell something. Like when automakers add passenger seats and dual side mirrors to the list of standard equipment, OH REALLY. I'm so grateful.

Theres a reason politicians aren't engineers and it has everything to do with stupidity.

they already get in the way alot with all their restrictions and guidlines
